Reminder: Timothy "Get Well" Card

Timothy's "Get Well" card from his fans is coming along nicely. We will be sending the card to Timothy in one week ( on January15th) so if you would like to participate in the card, you only have a few days left!

Anyone who wishes to be included in the card for Tim should send an email to schmitfan@gmail.com with your name as you wish it to appear on the card and if you wish a short message can be included. In order to conserve space We would ask that the message be no longer than a sentence or two.

We know Timothy will appreciate this show of support from his fans, as he recovers from the cancer and treatment.

A Group Get Well Card to Timothy from his fans!!

In light of Timothy's recent health issues (see post of Dec 20th)  I've put together a group "Get Well" card for Timothy from his fans. You can view the card here.

Dear Fans of Timothy,
 

First of all, please know that Timothy is ok, so don't worry. He said I can tell you about his current health situation, since I'm sure you would want to know.
 

In October, Timothy was diagnosed with throat and neck cancer. He flew to New York right after the 11/17/12 Las Vegas show for surgery with a top surgeon. He was only in the hospital for three days.
 

The good news is that the surgery was successful and Timothy has received a clean bill of health. The final pathology report stated that he appears to be cancer free, both in his throat and neck. He does not need to have chemo or radiation. Now he just has to keep an eye on things every month for about a year to be sure it stays away, and then not so often.

Timothy is healing nicely, though his throat is still a bit sore, but he's already out and about. He says that this has been a life changer in many ways, and that it has only bolstered his resolve to, in the words of Warren Zevon, “... enjoy every sandwich."

He doesn’t have his singing voice back yet, but he’s been talking ever since being in the recovery room at the hospital, and the doctors are quite confident he’ll be up and at it again, in a matter of time. As of 12/20/12, he’s still planning to perform at the Eagles’ 12/30/12 show in Las Vegas.

Timothy duets with Buffy Ford Stewart on her new album!

Timothy has sang with Buffy Ford Stewart on the title track of her new album "Same Old Heart" which was released Sept 30th. Purchasing info for the CD is on her website .
